Why liquor?

Me and my Chennai friend planned for a different new year celebration moment. We were invited for a New Year party. That was quite decent party I had been ever since a long time. That was well organised. They had arranged for Jokes-telling session. Each joke was translated into Hindi and English while they were telling in Kannada. Thus, it began with happy moments.
A group of Kids in the apartment was performing a nice fashion show. I must have taken all the ftv fans to this show to find the difference of cute and glamour. Later in that eve, they performed a nice dance in group. It was so cute to watch when kids dance. Some kids were missing the steps and tried to manage with the music. Later we had dinner. Dinner was a joined preparation of the families. Each dish was prepared by each of them. So, we had chance to taste all kind of food in India, in a single plate.
End of the dinner, we guys (elders and younger) gathered in balcony and enjoyed fire works. We had a nice group chat too. In between, one uncle was telling "why the people consume liquor for any enjoyment, is it due to every one does and why not me too? ". Infact every one had their own idea to reveal. We younger ppl were quietly listening to them. All the fun was over and I took help of someone to find the ring road to start ahead to my place.
While driving back to my room, I was remembering the previous year celebrations: We guys gathered in a form house, prepared nice veg and non-veg food. Dancing on the floor with noisy music after heavy rounds of hot + cold drinks. Firing crackers – mostly heavy sounded. When everything was saturated, started on our bikes towards main roads and wishing every person on the road and screaming over the night….
This New Year celebration was with no hang over, no smoke, no strain and no irritating noise but all pleasure in pretty decent way.
